The Martha's Vineyard Scottish Society held their 27th annual Burns Nicht dinner on Jan. 31 at the Harbor View Hotel. The evening commemorated the 255th birthday of Scottish bard Robert Burns, and featured kilts, bagpiping and toasts, along with a side of haggis. The evening is also the main fundraiser for the Scottish Society's scholarship fund, which provides scholarships to Vineyard high schoolers.
