The Martha's Vineyard Museum combined Halloween festivities with a party to celebrate Nancy Luce's 200th birthday party.

Cookies, pumpkins and block prints were on hand for the celebration at the old Marine Hopsital in Vineyard Haven. The hospital is the future site of the new Martha's Vineyard Museum building.

Ms. Luce, a well-known West Tisbury resident who was known as the Chicken Lady, is the subject of an upcoming museum exhibit. Nancy Luce: Madonna of the Hens opens on Nov. 7.
