At rest in the harbor. Jevon Rego

The Tisbury Wharf was a busy place all weekend as visitors lined up to see the Charles W. Morgan, the last remaining wooden whale ship in the world. The Morgan will be open to the public daily until Tuesday.

Here are a few pictures of the historic ship sent in by Gazette readers, taken at a variety of vantage points and times of day.

If you would like to share your photos, send them to news@mvgazette.com. Be sure to include your name.

Rosemary Hildreth's first shot of the Morgan under sail looks, at first blush, almost like an old oil painting. Wonderful to see this ship in her element.

Pretty much the most photogenic vessel known. We couldn't take our eyes off the Morgan upon arrival last week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe2ZfZkSnSI
