Flu Clinic on Monday

An all-Island flu immunization clinic will be on Monday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School gymnasium. People 50 or older, anyone who has a chronic medical condition, pregnant women, health-care workers or first responders with direct patient contact should attend.

Forms are available at all town board of health offices, the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, Vineyard Nursing Association, Visiting Nurse Service, Wampanoag Tribal Health Services and Martha’s Vineyard Medical Reserve Corps. Forms are also available at the Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, and up-Island councils on aging, the Oak Bluffs police department, the all-Island EMTs, the Rotary Club and at the high school.

In addition to the filled-out form, bring an insurance card or Medicare card, and wear a short-sleeved shirt. If you do not have insurance you can still attend the clinic; no one will be turned away for lack of insurance.
