Elizabeth Sands Anderson married Scott Eric Wolff of Navato, Calif., on Sept. 29 at the Federated Church in Edgartown. The Rev. Gerry Fritz officiated.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother, Mrs. Edmond L. Meinfelder of Pennsylvania. The matron of honor was Mrs. Geoffrey M. Curtis of Chicago, Ill. The best man was Kavin Peechaphand of Brooklyn, N.Y. A reception was held just down the hill at the Edgartown Reading Room.

Miss Anderson is the granddaughter of Edith G. Blake of Edgartown. She is the daughter of the late Peter Stickney Anderson of Philadelphia and West Tisbury.

She is a graduate of the Agnes Irwin School in Rosemont, Pa., and Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. She is a branch manager of STA Travel in Chicago, Ill.

Mr. Wolff is a graduate of San Marin High School in Navato and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Calif. He is project manager for Cardinal Health in Chicago, Ill.

Miss Anderson’s Island’s connections go far back into the Vineyard’s past, because she had two sets of great-great-great grandparents in both the Graham and Sands families, who summered on the Island. She also is the step-granddaughter of Henry Beetle Hough, the late editor and publisher of the Vineyard Gazette.

In lieu of a wedding trip, the couple rented a house in Edgartown for two weeks. They also planning a trip to Paris during the winter. At present, they are living in Chicago.
