The Vineyard Conservation Society winter walks program, focusing on the Island’s agricultural heritage, will continue on Sunday, Feb. 10, beginning at 1:30 p.m., with a guided walk at the 1,100 acres of protected open space at Seven Gates Farm.

In 1975, Seven Gates gifted a conservation restriction to The Trustees of Reservations, permanently safeguarding the farm’s open space. Walk leaders will include Trustees staff and Tess Bramhall, farm resident and author of the book, Seven Gates Farm, The First 100 Years.

The walk will last approximately two hours. Space is limited. Call the society at 508-693-9588 for directions and to reserve a place.
