The Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center, in conjunction with the Summer Institute, presents former Vermont Governor and ambassador to Switzerland Madeleine Kunin Monday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for admission.

She will expound her views on how to attract women to political leadership, based on her new book, Pearls, Politics and Power: How Women Can Win and Lead. The book will be available for purchase after her talk. Ms. Kunin will be introduced by prominent Harvard Business School professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter, author of 17 books, including America the Principled and Confidence.

Dr. Zalmay Khalilzad, United States Ambassador to the United Nations, speaks at the Summer Institute on Wednesday, July 30, at 7:30 p.m. Since April 2007 he has served as the permanent representative to the United Nations. Previously he was the US Ambassador to Iraq, and prior to that in Afghanistan. Suggested admission is $15.
