Flu Vaccine

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is beginning its 2008-2009 flu prevention campaign. State health officials have expanded their recommendations for who should be vaccinated against inluenza to include children from 6 months to 18 years of age. The vaccine is also recommended for people over the age of 50, pregnant women and anyone with a chronic medical condition, such as asthma, diabetes and chronic medical conditions of the heart, lungs, kidneys, blood or immune system.
