The Mediterranean has relocated to 15 Island Inn Road in Oak Bluffs and will reopen April 10. The new location nearly doubles the restaurant’s current capacity, easily accommodating over 200 guests and offering expanded outdoor seating, live entertainment and dancing, ample parking, full-service catering and banquet facilities.

Complete with a redesigned decor, Mediterranean will continue its tradition of delivering the finest in authentic Mediterranean cuisine and professional service. The menu is inspired by the culinary delights and regional traditions from Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Morocco, and is the passion of the co-owner and executive chef Douglas Hewson and his wife, co-owner, general manager and pastry chef Leslie Hewson.

The new location was formerly the home of Lola’s Southern Seafood.

In addition to serving its traditional menus, Mediterranean will now offer a unique wine list, a full service bar and tapas menu, and late night dining. Starting April 10, the restaurant and bar will be open for dinner five nights a week, Thursday through Monday, from 5 to 9 p.m. and will include weekend brunch options. Expanded hours will be announced closer to Memorial Day.
