Kaleidescope Dance will make school more fun (and inspiring) than you ever imagined, when it presents the 14th annual spring show on Sunday, May 31, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the performing arts center at the regional high school.

Called School Days, this program of choreography from renowned dancer and Kaleidescope founder Laura Sargent Hall turns her 65 Island dance students into cheerleaders, janitors and other characters from the hallways of your own school memories. Geometry class becomes something more wondrous as a modern dance; French class here is communicated in ballet; and for English Lit, why didn’t the teacher ever dance Midsummer Night’s Dream, as they do in this program?

Join the dancers, ages 3 to 17, from across the Vineyard, performing their first show in the Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $7, or $20 for a family, and all are welcome.
