Selected for Conference

From July 24 to August 21, Wrenn Yennie of West Tisbury will take part in the prestigious Japan-America Student Conference, the world’s longest running student-led exchange program between the two countries. Wrenn will join a group of 72 college students, half from Japan and half from the U.S., traveling around Japan and discussing some of the hottest issues concerning both countries.

The mission of the exchange program is to promote peace through mutual understanding, friendship and trust between the United States and Japan. The annual 30-day exchange that alternates between the U.S. and Japan is also designed to give students opportunities to grow in leadership, research, diplomacy, and networking. Applications for the 62nd (year 2010) conference will be available this fall. For information, visit iscdc.org.
