Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts’ Camp Wampanoag in Chilmark want you to spend your summer vacation having fun at Girl Scout camp.

Camp Wampanoag will have two summer camp sessions: August 23 to 27, and August 30 to Sept. 3 for girls in grades one to six. The programs will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day. Come for a day or all ten! Each day offers new and exciting programs tailored to each age level. Girls can meet new friends and connect with old friends.

The cost is $30 per day or $300 for all 10 days. Preregistration is required. Girls who are not already Girl Scouts pay a $12 fee for membership through Sept. 30. Financial aid is available. Sign up now at girlscoutseasternmass.org/programs or call 781-373-4232 for more information.

Artist in Residence on Monday, August 23: Do you like to paint, draw or create storybooks? Explore the world of creative arts. There will be time to play and enjoy the sunshine as well.

Nature Quest on Tuesday, August 24: Bugs and critters, what lurks under a log or in the shadows? Whose footprint is that? Join us for a day of exploring nature in the wild.

Be a Sport on Wednesday, August 25: Experience your sporty side! This day is full of sports and games. Try some familiar summer activities as well as some new team-building activities.

Discover the Scientist Within on Thursday, August 26: Are you curious about how things work? Do you love things that make everyone else cringe? Are you interested in saving the environment? This day is full of discovery.

Riddles, Rhymes and Puzzles on Friday, August 27: Have you ever been on a quest? Do you like to find the hidden meanings in things? Have you ever created your own code or puzzle? Join us for a puzzling day.

Camp Explorations on Monday, August 30: Begin an exploration of Oceanography. Expand your outdoor living skills. Play games and sports, sing songs and make a craft.

Under the Ocean on Tuesday, August 31: Continue the exploration of Oceanography. Explore the outdoors. Play games and sports, sing songs and create crafts.

Camp Wampanoag is known for its beautiful environment. Our camp is in the old fishing village of Chilmark. Campers cook outdoors, build fires, play games, sing camp songs and make crafts. Girls can earn badges from around the country.
