Ingrid Marie Ganske and Christopher Rangeley Looney were married Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown. The bride’s uncle, Randall Ross, officiated.

Dr. Ganske, 30, is a second-year resident in Harvard’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Program in Boston. She graduated summa cum laude from Princeton and earned a medical degree at Harvard Medical School. She also holds a Masters of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she was a Zuckerman Fellow.

She is the daughter of Dr. Corrine Ganske and Dr. Greg Ganske of Des Moines, Iowa. Her mother is a family practice physician and director of the East Des Moines Family Care Center. Her father is a plastic surgeon and former U.S. Representative.

Mr. Looney, 31, is a lawyer at Williams and Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. He graduated from Princeton, earned a Masters degree in Economics at the London School of Economics, and a law degree, magna cum laude, at Harvard Law School.

He is the son of Diane Looney and Walter Looney Jr. of Edgartown and New York, New York. His mother is a freelance interior designer in New York. His father recently retired as a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, the law firm in New York city, and currently is general counsel of the London-based asset management firm, Horizon Asset Limited.

The couple met at Princeton and started dating in New York after graduation, when the bride was working as an architect and the bridegroom was working at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
