Slow Food Movie

Pledging food for the soul and stomach, Slow Food Martha’s Vineyard is presenting a documentary film called The Economics of Happiness along with a soup and bread dinner tomorrow, April 7, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Chilmark Community Center.

The film features a chorus of voices from six continents calling for systemic economic change, includingDavid Korten, Bill Mc-Kibben and Samdhong Rinpoche,the Prime Minister of Tibet’s government in exile. 

Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and costs $5. The film starts at 7 p.m. and also costs $5. At 8 p.m. author and filmmaker Helena Norberg-Hodge will speak.
