Tonight, June 8, at 8 p.m. KCT concerts is hosting a night of Irish music with fiddler Oisin MacDiarmada and singer and accordionist Seamus Begley. The show takes place at the Katharine Cornell Theatre in Vineyard Haven.

Mr. MacDiarmada is a native of Sligo, a region known for its rich fiddle tradition. He is also a music education graduate of Trinity University in Dublin and has been described as “one of the most gifted and creative traditional fiddlers playing today.”

Mr. Begley is known for his inexhaustible energy on stage — think Bruce Springsteen, only Irish and rocking an accordion. He has toured extensively with the Irish band Altan and singer Mary Black.

Tickets for the show are $15 in advance, $20 at the door and free for children under 12.
