Spindrift Marionettes bring out their lively marionette puppets to perform The Magic Teakettle at the Grange Hall on July 17 at 3 p.m. The Magic Teakettle is an adaptation of a Japanese folk tale about a tenuki, a magical creature who can turn into anything.

At least 50 per cent of the profits from the show goes to the the African Artisans Community Development Project, an organization that provides economic opportunities for Zambian artisans while also generating support for local Zambian NGOs treating children who have been orphaned or disabled as a result of the HIV/AIDS crisis. Spindrift Marionettes has been associated with the African Artisans Community Development Project since its inception in 2001.

The show is appropriate for all ages, and lasts 20 minutes.
