The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard has three cats and one guinea pig available for adoption.

Daisy is a beautiful, big gray indoor-only cat who loves people and is so sweet-natured. She would make a great lap cat for someone. Thor, who had been fostered for a time, is back with us looking once again for a home. He is all black and a very nice cat. He has had a difficult life being shuttled back and forth between homes. The shelter’s other cat is an elderly gentleman named Rex who has overcome much shyness and needs to find a home where he can be a couch potato.

Zoey is a shy, sweet little female guinea pig who had been adopted but had to come back to the shelter because her owner had allergies.

And for those readers who are following Popi the greyhound, he is back with his original owner temporarily until he can have needed dental work done. After that he will be available for adoption. The Popi fund is still accepting donations for Popi’s dental work. Checks may be mailed to The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard; the mailing address is P.O. Box 1829, Edgartown MA 02539, with a notation on the check for the Popi Fund.
