Firefighters attacked the blaze inside a metal industrial building on East Line Road at the corner of A street that houses two contracting businessness: Chandler Construction and Joseph Cazeault and Sons roofers. No one was inside the building, police said. Emergency responders remained on the scene as firefighters kept a continuous stream of water trained on the building from overhead to guard against freezeups.

Firefighters at the center of the scene emerged coated with a thin layer of ice from the spray. Five trucks responded, including one ladder truck. Water was pumped from hydrants at the business park.
