What’s a summer fair without a clown and a little face paint? The Salvation Army is combining fun with some relevant information as they host a summer fair on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the West Tisbury Fire Department Station Two located at 452 State Road. Throughout the day residents can enjoy face painting, a bit of magic with Ollie the Clown, and free ice cream and iced coffee while learning about what to do in the case of a natural disaster on the Island.

Local volunteer Island coordinator and chairman Rick Reinhardsen will be on hand to share his experience and involvement with the Salvation Army, and will give a talk at 1 p.m. about what services are available on the Island and how to access them.

For more information, call Rick Reinhardsen at 774-563-9436.
