Laura Anne Douthitt and Bradley Alan Hawk were married June 8 at the Aquinnah home of her cousins Ted and Sarah Howes. Captain Steven C. Doane (Ret’d) of the U.S. Public Health Service, the bride’s uncle, performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Deborah and Scott Douthitt of Oro Valley, Ariz. and the granddaughter of Richard and the late Martha Doane of West Tisbury. The groom is the son of Cynthia and Charles Hawk, also of Oro Valley, Ariz.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Antoinette Sauber as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Renfro, Kristin Cleary and the bride’s cousin Richanna Steffen. Matthew Hawk, the groom’s brother, was the best man. Groomsmen were Donny Toia, Nicholas Johnoff and the bride’s cousin Lt. Nathaniel Doane USN. Ushers were Peter and Andrew Ruimerman of Chilmark. Readers were Roseanne Doane, the bride’s aunt, and Karen Friar. Music was performed by Eric Johnson.

A reception was held at The Grange Hall in West Tisbury.

The bride is a student at the University of Arizona Tucson. She is also employed by Tierra Antiqua Realty of Tucson, Ariz..

The groom is a 2010 graduate of the University of Arizona. He is employed in his family’s business, Chuck Hawk’s Performance Automotive of Tucson. He also coaches basketball at Catalina Foothills High School in Tucson.

The newlyweds will reside in Tucson.
