Scholarship Awarded

The Cape Cod Antique Dealers Association (CCADA) announced the award of its annual scholarship to Martha’s Vineyard resident Daniel Flynn.

This year the CCADA scholarship was awarded to a single graduate, Mr. Flynn, for his accomplishments during his studies at Cape Cod Community College. Mr. Flynn, who commuted from the Vineyard, enrolled at the college in 2009, returning to school after 20 years. He has been accepted at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where he will pursue a degree in visual and graphic arts. He hopes to use his graphic design education to become a children’s book illustrator.

Each year the CCADA provides funds to the Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation to provide a scholarship to one or more Cape Cod Community College graduates who will be pursuing additional studies in the field of art, history and the decorative arts.
