Miss Kelly Leah MacDougal and Mr. Steven Blackwell Jones were united in marriage on Saturday, April 6, at Christ Church Cathedral in Houston, Tex. The double ring ceremony was co-officiated by the Rev. Luchy Littlejohn and the Rev. Glenice Robinson-Como. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a seated dinner and dance at The Woodlands Resort. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Woodlands TPC Country Club.

The groom is the son of Samuel B. and Olga M. Jones of Carlisle, Mass. Steven is the grandson of the late Samuel Blackwell and Barbara Chipman Jones of Bryn Mawr, Pa. Their family has been longtime Island summer residents, and Steven is the fifth generation of Blackwell descendants to vacation in Chilmark. He is also grandson of Isolina Castellon de Lopez and the late Amado Lopez Zeledon of Nicaragua.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Marleah MacDougal of The Woodlands, Tex. She is the granddaughter of the late Henry Paul and Leah Harriet Smith Drexler of Sherburne, N.Y., and the late Donald and Bernice MacDougal of Hemet, Calif.

The bride was attended by Lauren Johnston as her matron of honor and Nicole Crews as her maid of honor. Amy Contant and Katie Plunkett served as bridesmaids. The flower girl was Riley Plunkett. The house party included Audrey Powell, Meredith Sharp and Trisa Seawell. Best men were S. Ross Jones, brother of the groom, and Jared Halajian, college friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Mark Thomford, Dr. Jose Evangelista and Dr. Aaron Kurjan. Luke Bronin, Tobin Powell and Zach Springer served as ushers.

Ms. MacDougal is the director of North America Energy for BMC Group SmartRoom based in Houston, Tex. She is a graduate of The John Cooper School, Class of 1998, in The Woodlands, Tex., and received a B.S. degree from Cornell University in 2002. Ms. MacDougal also received an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin in 2008. She is a member of The Junior League.

Mr. Jones is chief strategy and operations officer at and co-founder of Adotube in New York city. He is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, Class of 1997, and received a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan, Class of 2001, in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The couple honeymooned throughout the French Polynesian Islands, including Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora.
