One of the events at Tivoli Day in Oak Bluffs this year will be a book signing by Charlayne Hunter-Gault and Richard Michelson. Ms. Hunter-Gault is a prize-winning journalist and author of To The Mountaintop. Mr. Michelson will be signing copies of his children’s books As Good as Anybody: Martin Luther King and Abraham Joshua Heschel’s Amazing March Toward Freedom, Busing Brewster (about forced bussing in Boston) and his most recent book Twice as Good: The story of William Powell and Clearview (the only golf course designed, built, and owned by an African American).

Mr. Michelson and Ms. Hunter-Gault will be signing their books and talking about their writing and the civil rights movement on Circuit avenue as part of the day-long celebration.
