There was eating yesterday, of course, but what to do after the big meal? How about walk and talk with the animals, shop for handmade gifts, sing or laugh and party it up with Mozart and Brahms. Perhaps some clarification is in order. Today the Artisans Festival begins at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury. It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Also today the Felix Neck Fall Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy demonstrations with live birds of prey, hayrides, face painting, food and music.

On Saturday IMP joins up with its older brethren WIMP for a holiday reunion show starting at 7:30 p.m. at Alex’s place at the YMCA. The Thanksgiving chamber music concert also begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown. And up in Chilmark, Warren Doty and Alex Karalekas are organizing a potluck jam for Saturday at the Chilmark Community Center. Party begins at 6 p.m. Bring some food and, if inclined, an instrument. Everyone is invited to join in or just listen.

Then on Sunday, end the weekend with a blast at the fall shotgun shoot at the Martha’s Vineyard Rod & Gun Club. Shooting takes place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
