Dylan and Nili Beth (Goldstein) Morgan were married Sunday, Nov. 10 at the home of the bride’s parents, Susan and Sherman Goldstein, on Lambert’s Cove in West Tisbury. Following a welcome address by Josh Goldstein, family friend Stan Hersh conducted the service. The chuppah, the traditional Jewish wedding canopy, was held by the couple’s close friends Katherine Stackpole, Cali Coutts, Brad Rothwell and the groom’s brother, John Morgan.

Dylan is the son of Raymond Moreis of Oak Bluffs and Barbara Morgan of Edgartown and the grandson of Ted and Floss Morgan, also of Edgartown. Both the bride and groom are Class of 2000 graduates of Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. The groom attended Anna Maria College on a soccer scholarship and then enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving in Afghanistan. The bride is a graduate of Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts in American studies.

Many of the couple’s family and friends made wonderful toasts, including one by Seth Abbott, who offered this union as a détente between West Tisbury and Edgartown, and Sigmund Van Raan, who reminded the assembly of the incredible legacies both Nili and Dylan bring into their marriage.

After a too-brief honeymoon, both Nili and Dylan returned to their positions in family business: Dylan at Dolby Electric and Nili Beth at the Mansion House. The couple will reside in neutral territory in their Vineyard Haven home.
