Once again, I’ve been reminded how lucky we are to live in such a caring and compassionate place. After suffering a bad fall at my Chilmark home, a 911 call brought the police and wonderful Tri Town EMTs to my rescue. They gently and carefully carried me to the waiting ambulance and delivered me to the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital emergency room. The next day I was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital where my fractured femur was set. Five days later I arrived back in our wonderful hospital for rehabilitation. The care I received there by all the cheerful nurses, aids and physical therapists was the absolute best. What a team!

Thank you, thank you to all — too many to name — but you know who you are. My gratitude to you all.
