Massachusetts Democrats will be caucusing over the next four weeks to select delegates for the state convention held June 13 and 14 in Worcester.

This state convention will be an endorsing convention. Announced candidates for statewide office must garner at least 15 per cent of the convention’s delegate votes to be included on the primary ballot. The primary will be held Sept. 9, 2014.

Any voter is eligible to participate in their town’s Democratic caucus as long as they were a registered Democrat in their town on January 31, 2014. Voters interested in being delegates must be present at the caucus.

Five caucuses will be held on Martha’s Vineyard at the following locations: Chilmark, at the Chilmark town hall, selectman’s conference room on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 3 p.m.; Oak Bluffs at the Oak Bluffs Senior Center, on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m.; Tisbury at the Tisbury Senior Center on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m.; Edgartown at the Edgartown town library on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m., and West Tisbury at the library room at Howes House on Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m.
