The Island Parents Advisory Council on Special Education will meet Wednesday, March 19, in the spinning room at the YMCA. The general meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and topics include an overview of the nine special education programs that are part of the superintendent’s shared services.

Following the meeting, Phil Campbell, director of student support services, will share plans for the Bridge and Project Headway programs along with Hope MacLeod, intensive needs specialist. All are invited and parents are welcome to bring ideas and concerns as both of these programs are growing. Childcare is provided for a nominal fee.

Call Kim at 240-498-2090 if you would like to receive childcare so that you can attend the meeting.
