The summer worship season starts at the Union Chapel in Oak Bluffs on Sunday, June 29.

Among those who will be speaking at Union Chapel for the first time are Sharon Pratt, former mayor of Washington, D.C.; Rev. Suzan Johnson Cook, former Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom at the State Department; Rev. Matthew Laney, senior minister of Asylum Hill Congregational Church in Hartford, Conn.; and Rev. Lillian Daniels, from First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn, Ill.

Among those returning this summer are Rev. Susan Sparks, former comedienne and now in New York city with Madison Avenue Baptist Church; Dr. John Wilson, president of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga.; Rev. Otis Moss  3rd, from Trinity Church in Chicago, Ill.; Bishop Robert Wright from the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, Ga.; and Rev. Charles Adams from Hartford Church in Detroit, Mich.

Rev. Dr. John Schule will begin the season on June 29. Dr. Schule was the longtime pastor for the Federated Church in Edgartown.

Union Chapel is a non-denominational church and is located at the intersection of Circuit, Kennebec and Narragansett avenues. The prelude begins at 9:40 a.m. and worship begins at 10 a.m.  All are welcome!
