Keeping the kids busy and engaged over the summer just got a little easier. The Martha’s Vineyard Museum’s summer Discovery Days program began July 1 and will continue at the Edgartown campus every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. The program is geared to ages 5 through 12, and coincides with current exhibits. This summer that means harpooning, lighthouses, scrimshaw, block printing, herbs and, of course, it wouldn’t be summer without tie-dying.

Reservations are required and space is limited. Call Kate at 508-627-4441, extension 110 to make a reservation. Classes are $15 for museum members or $20 for nonmembers.
