The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks snapped a six-game losing streak Tuesday in an away contest against the Worcester Bravehearts, but fell 5-1 to the league-leading Brockton Rox on returning to their home field the next night. Brockton, with a 17-8 record, is holding firm to first place in both the division and the league.

The Sharks are now 11-13 on the season, and third in the eastern division of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League. They have two home games this weekend, playing the Nashua Silver Knights on Saturday and the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs on Sunday. The Torrington Titans visit the Shark Tank on Wednesday. All game times are at 7 p.m.
