Scout Hotels, the company that manages the Harbor View Hotel and Kelley House in Edgartown, is expanding with two new properties on the Cape and Nantucket.

Scout announced last week that its portfolio of hotels now includes the Harborview Place in Nantucket, which is made up of 10 residences available to rent. Scout has also added CapeWind Waterfront Resort in Falmouth, which they said is a family-friendly resort with 31 guest rooms.

Scout Hotels is a division of Scout Real Estate Capital LLC, and the company’s corporate office is in Nantucket. Besides the Harbor View Hotel and Kelley House, Scout Hotels also manages the Sea Crest Beach Hotel in Falmouth and Plantation of Crystal River in Florida.

“The additions of Harborview Place and CapeWind Waterfront Resort bring new breadth and depth to our Cape and Islands portfolio, in keeping with our overall growth strategy,” Scout Hotels president Robin Kirk said in a press release. “While each has its own distinct market, both speak to the customer who seeks an authentic New England coastal experience.”

In 2006, Scout purchased the Harbor View, which is more than 100 years old, and the Kelley House, which includes the Newes from American Pub. The total price for the Edgartown properties was $45.1 million.

Earlier this year, the Kelley House was sold to new owners, but Scout Hotels continues to manage the properties.
