The final dinner and a movie offering for the summer season of the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival at the Chilmark Community Center will be Wednesday, August 20. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m.

The film is titled Art and Craft and tells the story of one of the most prolific art forgers in U.S. history, Mark Landis. Not in it for the money, Mr. Landis copied impressive works of art and donated them to museums and other institutions for more than 20 years before being discovered. To make the night even more memorable, Mr. Landis will be at the screening and perhaps you can ask him just how he was able to copy the likes of Picasso and Walt Disney.
