The West Tisbury library hosts a one-time performance of Arnold Rabin’s new play, What do people talk about when they have nothing to say? on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m.

The play involves two couples and the issues they deal with in their marriages. The cast includes Connie McCreery, Jenny Allen, Mike Adell and Leslie J. Stark, who also serves as director of the performance.

Mr. Rabin worked as a television writer, producer and director and as an executive producer for PBS. His work has earned fellowships and prizes from the Edward Albee Foundation, the American Council for Theatre and Education, the Drama League of New York’s and others.

Mr. Stark has directed two other plays by Mr. Rabin and performs and directs for Island Theatre Workshop, the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse and also Shakespeare for the Masses. For information about this free performance, call 508-0693-3366 or visit westtisburyfreepubliclibrary.org.
