Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center hosts a discussion on Arab-Israeli Peacebuilding Projects in a Time of Conflict on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Educator Dr. Harriet Feinberg will lead the discussion. Her commitment to peace-building in the Middle East goes back several decades. In the mid 1980s she organized a dialogue group of Arab-American and Jewish-American women who met monthly for four years. She helped found the Playing for Peace program at the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in New Hampshire, where music students from Israel and the Arab world and from other conflict areas come together with American students in the summer to make music.
