The Martha’s Vineyard Cancer Support Group is hosting its annual daffodil fundraiser on March 17 to help financially support those dealing with cancer on the Island.

Bunches of 10 daffodil buds will be sold at the Edgartown Stop & Shop, Cronig’s, Reliable Family Market and the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital for $10 a bunch. Daffodils that have been preordered will be distributed on March 16.

The Martha’s Vineyard Cancer Support Group is a federally recognized, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to “provide temporary and emergency financial assistance to year-round cancer patients and their families.” The group also hosts support groups every Wednesday at noon in the library of the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center on Center street in Vineyard Haven.
