While everybody is arguing, the physical appearance of the airport buildings and grounds continues to deteriorate and is a disgrace to the Island. How about a little care and attention to detail. While new rocking chairs are nice, the exterior wood beams are peeling; shrubbery and flowers are uncared for; trees haven’t been pruned for many years . . . just to mention a few examples of neglect. Citizens, look around. This isn’t the Detroit Municipal Airport yet, but it’s getting close. Can’t the MVAC show just a little care? It creates a negative impression for your customers — who pay your bills.
