My wife and I were visiting Edgartown on the afternoon of Sept. 27. We bought fudge, and later, a gift at the bookstore. We absentmindedly left them in a bag on the bench outside Scoops. The next evening we returned to repurchase the gift, but the bookstore was closed. On a whim my wife went into Scoops and asked if a bag had been found. Yes, it had! Someone had brought the bag into the store. The two young women employees had saved the fudge and gift, and refused to accept a monetary reward. Thank you, Simona from Romania, Desi from Bulgaria and the unknown finder. We are fortunate that you were so honest and caring.
