On Saturday, WUMB 91.9 FM is coming to the Island to host its first even member concert here, held at The Loft in Oak Bluffs. As is tradition at member concerts, the show is free and members also get to hang out with some of the talent at the show — those on stage and those from behind the microphone at the station.

On Saturday, the headliner for the evening show, 7 to 9 p.m., is the Island’s own Willy Mason, along with opening acts Krista Baroni and Ian Fitzgerald. Earlier in the day, there will be a local showcase from 1 to 3 p.m. featuring Emily Diamond, Jemima James, Marciana Jones, Alex Karalekas and Michele Jones.

What makes member concerts special, in addition to the music, is getting to meet some of the deejays from the station face to face. Albert O., a longtime fixture of Boston radio, will be making the trip. At WUMB, Albert O. hosts the weekend shows Highway 61 Revisited on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, and WUMB Blues on Sunday from midnight to 6 a.m.

Jay Moberg, the station’s music and programming director, will also be here. In addition to his general radio stations duties, Mr. Moberg hosts the Music Mix show Mondays through Fridays from noon to 3 p.m.

Patty Domeniconi, general manager, and Carol Darcy, president of the WUMB advisory board, complete the package.

The show is for anyone, member or not, but members of the station enjoy a pre-show party at The Loft from 6 to 7 p.m., where they can meet the musicians and the deejays. Membership to the commercial-free radio station is just $60. To join, visit wumb.org.
