When David Lott wrote his lovely tribute to his mother (Marjorie Crist Lott) who turned 101 on Dec. 13 he did not complicate matters by writing of his grandmother, Addie Crist. At this season, however, I wish to do so, as I learned some time ago that is was Addie who started the Red Stocking Fund here in the 1930s. That has been a wonderful part of the Vineyard Christmas season ever since.
