Congratulations to Manx cat Tosh. Shelter friends Penny and Max have given him the most wonderful home he could have found. We wish them many happy years together.

Felines Lois and Clark need a home. They are a nine-year-old brother and sister pair who are calm, gentle and affectionate. Both are declawed and up to date on shots. Their owners are unable to take them to their new home and are anxious to find them a nice home where they can continue to sun themselves and live the life of leisure. If you are interested in this duo please contact Phil Wallis at 610-246-3488 or pwallis@mvmuseum.org.

Is there an angel out there willing to adopt Casper? He is an 11-year-old diabetic cat looking for someone to care for him. He is free to a good home.

Nine-month-old stray black kitten Eloise from Franklin street in Vineyard Haven has been spayed and joined the residents of the cat room. Please contact us if you think she could be your missing pet or if interested in adopting this fur ball of fire. She is playful and quite affectionate.

Max, the 15-month-old Labrador retriever/hound mix, is still looking for a home. He is well-trained, affectionate and good with other dogs and cats, but fearful of young children. He is staying with his family until a new home can be found so please contact the shelter if you would like to meet this sweet boy.

Still in the cat room waiting for her new forever home is lovely seven-year-old Russian Blue Lola. She is a real doll and super affectionate. Any Russian Blue lovers out there for this petite little lady with the beautiful green eyes? Also available is Lyle, a five-year-old tuxedo who is very friendly, affectionate and quite handsome. He might prefer to be an only cat.

Other cat room residents hoping for new homes are 12-year-old tuxedo female Maryanne, who is extremely affectionate, 11-year-old white and black male Chaps, and elderly orange gentleman Milo. Adoption fees will be waived for all of these residents.

Thank you to Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Spay/Neuter Wagon for visiting on Wednesday, March 16. While here they spayed or neutered nine dogs and six cats. To put your name on the list for their next visit please contact your local animal control officer.
