Teddy desperately needs a home; he has been here far too long. He is a medium-sized, short-coated hound mix and his markings are white and brindle. He’s a happy, playful boy who loves his toys and also loves car rides, making him an excellent co-pilot.

While at the shelter Teddy is being trained by Jeremy Jones and he’s become a rock star. However, he is distrustful of strangers but once he gets to know you he’s back to being a rock star.

If you’d prefer a cat or two, Smokey and Bandit are two-year-old, medium-haired, male black cats. These boys are bonded brothers so we would like them to be re-homed together, but if that’s not possible it isn’t a deal breaker. Both are very sweet, very affectionate cats, definite lap sitters that love people.

We also have a stunning, 13-year-old, long-haired female cat named Jasmine. Her eyes are green and her coloring is dilute calico. She is very sweet and affectionate, but a little shy in her new surroundings.

Evie Mc Chi Chi, is a black, Dutch lop-eared, female rabbit. She is a princess and comes with a three-tier cage/house on wheels that is easy to assemble. She is friendly but is also fearful of strangers at first. It takes a few days for her to warm up, but she is a happy bunny once she settles in. Evie is currently with her family so please contact the shelter if you would like to make an appointment to meet her.

Also still available are Peter and Teddy, nine-month-old, black male rabbits. They’ve been hand-raised and are litter box-trained. Both are very friendly, and love to be held and cuddled. And they’re happy living indoors or out.

The shelter phone number is 508-627-8662.
