Don't hunt anymore but my,younger frinds give me venison and I make piles of venison jerky. 1 cup brown sugar/4 tablespoons red pepper flakes/1 1/2 cups lite teryaki sauce/ 1 teaspoon salt with sodium nitrite in it to prevent anything that might be in the meat of a wild animal. Marinade for 8 hours and then dry away. That will do for ten pounds of venison.
