The League of Women Voters of Martha’s Vineyard will hold a series of candidate forums ahead of the annual town elections this spring.

The public is invited and will have a chance to listen to candidates present their positions and ask questions.

The first forum will be in Edgartown at 2 p.m. on March 23 at the Edgartown Public Library. West Tisbury’s forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. on April 2 at the West Tisbury Library. The Oak Bluffs candidate forum will be at 7 p.m. April 3 at the Oak Bluffs Public Library. The candidate forum in Chilmark will be April 4 at 6 p.m. at the Chilmark Community Center.

The nomination deadline has not passed in Aquinnah and Tisbury, but the league has scheduled forums for both towns in case there are contested races. Aquinnah’s forum will be held at 7 p.m. on April 24 at Aquinnah’s town hall. Tisbury’s forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. on May 30 at the Tisbury Senior Center.

The forums will be held in person and recordings will be available online.
