Hannah Young, 84, Was a Resident of Falmouth

Hannah Kingston Young of Falmouth died on Thursday, June 3, at her residence at the Atria Woodbriar in Falmouth. She was 84. She was the wife of the late Jacob F. Young Jr., who died in 1992, to whom she had been married for 51 years.

She was born in Hagerstown, Md., was graduated from Marriotte College in Ohio and earned a master's degree in retailing from NYU. She lived in Brazil for eight years, then moved to Barrington, R.I., for 15 years. She and her husband then moved to Cocoa Beach, Fla., summering in Scaly Mountain, N.C. Upon her husband's death, she moved to the New England area.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Young was a member of the Episcopal Church. She was a passionate bridge player; she also enjoyed raising boxers and playing golf. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Y. Young of Oak Bluffs, and two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Sarah Young, of Boston.
