Oriel E. Chambers

Oriel E. (Mitchell) Chambers of Brookline, formerly of Dorchester and Martha's Vineyard, died Oct. 31.

She was the wife of the late Curtis B. Chambers.

Mrs. Chambers is survived by her children: Dr. Lorna E. Chambers-Andrade of Edgartown; Larry B. Chambers of Woburn; Steven J. Chambers Sr. and his wife, Doris, of Atlanta, Ga.; and Kevin L. Chambers and his wife, Angela, of Atlanta, Ga.

She is also survived by two former daughters in law, Judy of New York and Debbie of Woburn; grandchildren Rashid of New York, Marquise of Atlanta, Ga., Loryce, Jacklyn and Brian of Woburn, Steven Jr., Nichole and Felicia of Boston, Tiffany of North Carolina and Leah of Atlanta, Ga.; great-grandchildren Chaton, Brittany and Timmy of Boston, Teijiah of North Carolina and Maliak of Atlanta, Ga.

She is also survived by two loving aunts, Helen and Iona David of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; brother in law Arthur Davis of Cambridge; Brown and Ann Chambers, York Chambers, Benjamin and Katie Chambers, all of Ohio, and Louise Alexander of Orlando, Fla.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends throughout the United States and Canada.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Roxbury. Visiting hours with the family start at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
