Stephen A. Booth Loved Visiting the Vineyard

Stephen Anderson Booth, 40, died in an automobile accident on Dec. 16 in Prescott, Ariz. Mr. Booth was born in Opelika, Ala. on January 19, 1964 where his father was a graduate student at Auburn University. For many years, Mr. Booth lived in Massachusetts, graduated from Belmont High School in 1982 and attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams. After leaving New England, he lived in West Palm Beach, Fla., Rochester, Minn., and for the last two and half years in Prescott, Ariz. where he was a manager at Decision Point Inc.

At a memorial service organized by his friends in Prescott, many spoke of his positive impact on their lives, his irreverent sense of humor, and that he always took time to listen and help others. He was an avid reader, loved music, travel, the Vineyard and his family. His parents, brother and cousin, Joanne Lambert, were present at the memorial.

Mr. Booth is survived by his immediate family including his parents, Joan and Jim Booth of Alexandria, Va, and Sengekontacket, his brother, Dr. Jeb A. Booth, his sister in law, Lisa Merlo-Booth, nephew Cole and niece Rylee Booth of Bellingham, his cousin Joanne Lambert of Medford, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. At a later date, his ashes will be scattered in the ocean off the Vineyard.
