Nancy M. Wilson of Woodside Village in Oak Bluffs died on Thursday, August 14 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital.

She was the former wife of Carl E. Carlson Jr. and the daughter of Everett Tileston and Nancy (Wilson) Tileston. She was born on March 10, 1932 in Medford and was raised by her grandmother.

She had lived on the Vineyard for 30 years, where she made her living as a bookkeeper for the former A& P Store and at the end of her career she was a clerk. She also worked for the registry of motor vehicles for a brief period.

Nancy had a love of horses and during her lifetime she owned and rode them.

She is survived by her friend, Joyce Viera.

Funeral services will be private and donations may be made in her memory to the MSPCA, PO Box 2097, Edgartown, MA 02539.
