Gloria T. Karam Vigneault, 71, of Largo, Fla., died Sept. 11 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, N.H. where she was well and gently supported in her final days.

Born Sept. 21, 1936, and raised in Manchester, N.H., Gloria devoted her life to motherhood, church and community. She had a zest for life, enjoying family, friends, gardening, dancing, the ocean and music. Her adventurous spirit brought her to Martha’s Vineyard, Florida and back to New Hampshire. Her many Island friends will fondly remember the humor, generosity and loving presence she brought to her home at Woodside Village, her worship at Vineyard Assembly of God, her work at Vineyard Employment Options and her role as grandmother to Ava and Willa Vigneault.

She is survived by her children, David Vigneault of West Tisbury, Christine Vigneault of Concord, N.H., Colette Johns of Cape Coral, Fla., Catherine Melusen of Bristow, Va., and Caren Vigneault of York, Me.; and siblings William Karam, Albert Karam, Anthony Karam, Sister Mary Michael of Manchester, N.H., and George Karam of Jensen Beach, Fla.

A memorial celebration and reception will be held at Grace Capital Church, 542 Pembroke street, Pembroke, N.H., on Saturday at 11 a.m.
