Janice Duart Dies at 71

Janice Duart of Oak Bluffs died on Saturday evening, April 7 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston. She was 71.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Robert (Bob) Duart Sr. in October of 2009. She is survived by her children, Gordon G. Ponte and his wife ,Lisa; Kenneth Wayne Ponte and his wife, Erica; and Janet L. Ponte.

A graveside service for the interment of her cremains will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 2:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Vineyard avenue in Oak Bluffs at 2 p.m.

My prayers are with her family. I remember Aunt Janet when we were young children and she lived down the street from her. I remember her laughing and joking with my mother and father. She will be missed.
